Located in Cliffwood, New Jersey, Central Jersey Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides medication-assisted treatment to adults age 18 and older of all genders who have been struggling with opioid addiction. Medication-assisted treatment, or MAT, is an evidence-based, research-supported approach to opioid addiction treatment that combines prescription medication with counseling. Medication can help a person stop using opioids without experiencing the pain of withdrawal, and counseling can help them make the lifestyle changes that will support long-term recovery. MAT for opioid addiction at Central Jersey CTC may include a prescription for methadone, buprenorphine, or naltrexone, as well as individual and group counseling sessions.
