Medication-assisted treatment is an evidence-based form of opioid addiction treatment that includes prescription medication to ease withdrawal symptoms and counseling to help people make the changes that will support long-term recovery. Desert CTC patients may be provided with a prescription for one of the following medications: Suboxone, methadone, buprenorphine, or naltrexone. Adults who receive opioid addiction treatment at our center in Palm Springs, California, may also participate in individual and group counseling sessions.
