Now an advocate of the empowerment model, I am rewarded when I see patients take initiative in making decisions for their own recovery. I believe the recovery requires a team approach and we want to provide the best care for patients when they reach out for help. I am a strong advocate of integrative medicine, the intelligent combination of conventional and alternative approaches to healthcare. After fellowship, I spent two and half years in addiction medicine helping people with opioid and alcohol dependence; I discovered that all the skills and knowledge I obtained was a good fit in addiction medicine. I provide exceptional, compassionate and integral care to individuals and families struggling with addictions.
