Horizon Services, Inc. – Palm Avenue Detox

Description

A 20-bed social model detoxification program serving adult Medi-Cal beneficiaries experiencing SUD and co-occurring behavioral health disorders in San Mateo County. Average stay is 5 days or up to 2 weeks for severe symptoms that qualify for extended detoxification. Clients are assessed prior to admission, and monitored 24/7 under direction of our MD. Those that require withdrawal medications or other medical services are promptly referred and transferred to our medical provider partners. The mission of Horizon Services is cultivate or restore a sense of hope, self-awareness, and community to people impacted by substance use and mental health challenges by providing effective trauma informed prevention, treatment and and recovery services.
