OHL offers medically supported detox services to individuals 18 or older suffering from addiction and withdrawal and accepts clients and referrals for its program 7 days a week. OHL's Medically Supported Detox Facility has beds available for individuals who cannot afford private detox and rehab, but who do not need the high level of care of a hospital-based detox. The Medically Supported Detox utilizes basic oral medications to treat symptoms of withdrawal. OHL’s Medically Supported Detox is appropriate for people who have chronically abused many types of substances, especially opiate pain pills, prescribed anxiety and muscle relaxing medications, alcohol, and heroin. Detox treatment typically lasts 5-7 days.
