Description

At ORCA House, one floor operates as a 16-bed, short-term mental health residential facility, serving adults who require a higher level of step-down care after being discharged from a crisis stabilization unit or inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. It’s also available for step-up care for adults referred for a higher level of monitored residential treatment. With an expected length of stay of 30-90 days, the goal is to provide a positive, structured, caring, home-like environment conducive to the stabilization of symptoms, individual growth and development, and an effective transition back into the community.
